Was in New York for the month of April.  Had the opportunity to meet some of the other kids on Ohger - always interesting experience to have a digital relationship with someone and then to spend real, quality time together.

Thanks again, dude, for all the conversation and the dope print.

This was from a weekend homework assignment that my professor gave to my senior studio class.

We were asked to create thumbnails illustrating seven concepts each with their own individual restriction.

	These three were my favorites.

	Illustrating "divine" using a shadow.

	Illustrating "isolation" using only animals.

Illustrating "love" using a cityscape (I struggled coming up with an image for this one, but I soon stopped thinking about it so hard and drew this and mailed it to my sister who lives in Queens)

My goal was to get four covers done by the end of the term.  I have two finished now and one that I should be able to complete by next week.

It feels nice to accomplish a goal.

Maria and I were selected to contribute to a group show in Philadelphia this weekend.

I've had this idea for a samurai painting for a while, so it was nice to finally execute it.

The Good Wood show features custom-designed decks by some pretty sweet artists.

And AJ Fosik is doing an installation which is gonna be so awesome.

Right now, I'm sitting in on an editorial painting class, waiting for the professor to finish making her rounds with the other students so that I can talk with her about the work I'm doing for my independent study.

I have a friend who's published a series of novellas through Lulu.com, all with very clever titles like The Big Secret of Planet-X and Dr Von Hindenburgh and the Fire Extinguishers of God, but the covers are illustration-less so I thought I could lend him a hand.

I finished reading The Big Secret of Planet-X last night and it was quite good.  I'm preparred to discuss my thumbnails with her later this afternoon.

As I've been waiting, I've been managing my Ohger account.  I must say that I'm absolutely thrilled to be apart of this.  It's very exciting.

And that's how my day's been so far.

	All the Best,

	x
