James Noellert no longer has an active account at Ohger. As you may know, Ohger is a subscription-based service and it could be that James Noellert decided not to continue using Ohger. That's okay. People come and go over time.

The main character in this story has doubts about the value of his work, in the context of the universe especially, but he finds comfort in fighting the small battles againts the recognizable foe, namely the "squares" that might hope to hinder his quest for understanding.

a later version after looking through a book of gary panter's sketchbooks at the library.
Hergé's "Tin Tin: Explorers on the Moon"
Jerry Robinson's "Jet Scott", where I snagged all the textures from.

I think David put it best when he said "who cares". If you are looking for community, don't look towards strangers on the internet. If you are looking for business, share your work with art directors, not illustration peers. If you are looking for a good time, hang out at ohger.com, I think it's only going to get better.
